So far looking at my research project it has been looking pretty good. I chose to research the topic of Memorial Hall as its history is a rich part of Lexington to what it is today. Memorial Hall is filled with unknown historic artifacts that many are unaware about that I would love to try to make them more apparent to the campus community.
There have been many struggles that have come to play with this topic, as it is hard to find many things about the building. Memorial Hall has limited valid resources available to look at the inner view and the historic artifacts that it contains. From just seeing the limited resources available I can already see how uneducated others are of this building. My research has been based off of my knowledge of the building, visiting the building and exploring the historic artifacts the internet fails to acknowledge.
Going further with my research I hope I can go back to Memorial Hall and talk to someone that is educated on the buildings aspects. This would help me know the history of the things we see in the building and hopefully bring that with me to teach more students about this hidden history.
